Chapter 3

Everyone earned a makeover since they all got passed by in the cake department.  Cris and Marie had turned out especially icky.

The Science Facility finally left me a message in regards to making the master invention.  I have the Palladium, but I have heard rumors that Hidden Springs does not have pink diamonds or life fruits.  I will probably not finish my LTW.

Screenshot-13
I finally made a potion.  Orion was very disappointed.  He enjoyed when I get blown up because Indigo and Star get spooked.  I guess being old means you find your amusements however you can.

Screenshot-14
I am so glad that Nicholas had a previous daughter, Dayna.  I don’t have any pressure on me to produce more kids.  We are both quite happy with our little Marie and we can flirt and play without any interference.

Screenshot-18
Nicholas even begged me to help him in the garden.  I can’t believe I am almost to level six already.

Screenshot-19
Screenshot-20
Nicholas hit level 9 in the science career, which completed his lifetime wish.

Screenshot-24
Although Star hates it, I keep filling up his backpack with gnomes instead of selling them.  This one had escaped my notice and prevented dad from making dinner.  It seems that people three towns over heard dad’s yelling.

Screenshot-26
I haven’t had a chance to speak to mom lately, but it seems that she just can’t help being a hateful old woman.

Screenshot-36
The new hangout spot.  Between broken sinks and actual facility use, it has become the family meeting spot.

I have been religiously inventing cheap stuff to sell at the consignment shop.  I am still only a level 7, but I’m getting there slowly but surely.  Imagine my surprise when I saw the same affliction on this lady as I had seen years ago on my mom.

Screenshot-27
I had Mousehand make her more presentable.  Look how miserable Ms. Consignment clerk looks.
Screenshot-29
Much better.

I really need to delete that Christmas shirt one of these days.

Screenshot-32
Now he just needs to work on his handiness skill for a promotion.

Screenshot-40
With Marie at school all day then doing homework and Nicholas working all day and then gardening most of the night, I made them both hit the park one Saturday morning for some father-daughter bonding.  Too bad that failed.

Screenshot-41
Marie went on an epic 5 hour joy ride.

Oh no!  I hope that was a speed bump and not that raccoon I saw a little while ago!

Screenshot-42
Screenshot-44
Ack!  Don’t hit the deer!

Screenshot-47
Marie:  Can I please hit the creepy Paparazzi guy?

Screenshot-48
She then caught a butterfly.

I bet you’re wondering where her dad has been this whole time….

Screenshot-50
Yep..he is definitely not the life of this party.

Screenshot-51
It was dark when Marie finally found him and woke him up.  They spent some time talking about their favorite movies.

Screenshot-53
and gossiping and giggling with each other.

Screenshot-54
I heard that Fluffs walked by with one of his babies.

Screenshot-58
I read this in the paper.  I found it amusing, as I had never seen anything like it before.  I didn’t even know my step-daughter knew that side of the family.

Screenshot-59
As usual, Dad has to have a freak out every once in a while to hit his happy place.

A couple of years later…..

Screenshot-69
I can’t imagine why my mother didn’t have him arrested for this.  Fluff’s and my teenage little sister had a baby!  The whole town was in shock.  I know mom and Fluff’s were divorced by then because Fluff’s had a baby with someone else a while previously.

All too soon it was Marie’s birthday.  I was determined that no one would forget this time.

Screenshot-70
I had just blown myself up….again.  In 15 years, I have managed to learn 3 potions..but I have mastered blowing myself up.  I’m just lucky to still be alive.

Screenshot-73
We all just dropped what we were doing and started cheering.  I think it was extra loud and extra long, to try and make up for all the missed one’s she had endured.

Screenshot-74
I hope you get your wish, little one.

Screenshot-78
*dead silence*  I was not prepared for this.  My daughter is a replica of my worst enemy.  Even dad was in shock.  Luckily, Nicholas had never met my mother, so he was acting normally.

Screenshot-81
I am determined to get past this, but it will be hard.  I don’t see her very often anyway.  She has taken up with a new boy that moved in next door.

I will leave it off here for now.  The hair was really unintentional.  Her features are all smooshed together and she has a big head.  That hair is the only thing that covers her face decently.  Just as I had to do the same thing at the child age and put sunglasses on her to hide the flaws.  And I was serious,  Alani and Cris won’t stay in the same room with her.  It’s creepy.  When she gets in trouble, it’s only Nicholas who punishes her.
